Jack and the Beanstalk
Mischievous Theatre has teamed up with Bumblefly Theatre and Forest Forge Theatre Company to bring this small scale production to the New Forest and surrounding areas and East Kent.Jack and the Beanstalk will tour between 13th December to 15th January (there could be an extension until 22nd January especially for people in East Kent if there are enough venues wanting to book the show).
We appreciate that this is quite short notice but hope that you understand that we have been waiting to see how Covid type things would play-out before we could make any decisions.
Clive Holland (Mischievous Theatre) has performed Christmas shows with Bumblefly and Forest Forge before; many of you will remember Hansel and Gretel, The Elves and the Shoemaker and The Frog Prince.
The show will be based on the traditional tale with our own twists and turns. What ever happened to Daisy the cow? Who was the mysterious bean seller? This exciting and inventive storytelling led piece, with music, will be filled with all the mischief and mayhem you have come to expect from us.
Here are all the essential details:
Touring dates: Friday 13th Dec until Thursday 23rd Dec and Monday 10th January until Saturday 15th January.
NB: With possible extension for East Kent until 22nd January.
Running time: Under an hour without an interval. (Each venue can decide whether they have refreshments after the show. ) This show can also be performed in Schools during the day or evening.
Fee: £500 per venue Audience capacity: This is ultimately up to each venue If you would like to book the show and discuss arrangements, please get in touch as soon as you can and we will try our very best to give you the date that you would like.
